Choosing Mens Bikes

Choosing Mens Bikes

The Growing Demand For Mens Bikes

I remember when I was a kid, there were only a handful of bicycle manufacturers that existed and the choices and types of mens bikes were very limited.  Now, in this day and age, there are mountain bikes, specialized bikes, racing bikes, and a host of other more specific choices.

Cycling is a great sport, no matter whether you compete competitively or not.  Whether you are on a Trek mountain bike or just tooling around town on one of the Huffy bikes available. It is a joy to be riding wherever you happen to be.

The benefits of cycling certainly are multi-fold - while riding a Mongoose bike or any other choice of mens bikes, you are able to improve your physical fitness through cycling.  It is a great cardiovascular activity and also serves to improve your overall stamina and endurance.

I truly enjoy riding my Scott mountain bike several times a week.  It is great to be out in nature and to experience some peaceful "down time" either on your own or with friends while at the same time improving your overall health.

Because of the increasing popularity in cycling, there has been a tremendous rise in the number of manufacturers of mens bikes and the amount of choices a consumer has in this day and age is almost endless.  That is ideal for a buyer since there are many bikes available coming with a wide range of options.

Right now is the time of the year to invest in mens bikes as we approach winter.  The demand is much less in these months of the year and you can save a lot of money selecting amongst downhill bikes, for example, or really any other type of mens bikes.

The future of this industry doesn't appear to be letting up any time soon.  The Tour de France and riders such as Lance Armstrong have popularized the sport of cycling to heights it never had reached before.  Now, with the proliferation of a whole new host of mens bikes and bike products, it does not appear that this trend will change anytime soon.

So, if you are not a cyclist, climb on board!

We have an RV and regularly go for breaks in the country and even to the cities. The RV has a bike rack fitted so we regularly takes our bikes with us. It's great to park up the RV on a site and then just go of for the day on our bikes and enjoy the local scenery.

I bought a bike rack for the car recently. We've often gone into the country at weekends and noticed more and more people carrying bikes on the back of their cars. We like to walk in the country but it can be quite slow getting around. With the bikes it's really great fun. We can now drive, park up and then enjoy much more from the comfort of our bike.

Our family like to go cycling together. It's a great way to have a day out and at the same time spend time with each other. On a Sunday we cycle to church and it's becoming quite a habit. More and more families are leaving the car at home and coming to church on their bikes. It helps to slow down the pace of life for a while and so far I've never had any problems with 'bike rage' It seems to happen only to the car drivers.

I retired a few years ago and took up cycling as a way off getting around town. I really enjoy getting up in the morning and going for a cycle. There's lots of places in town where I can park my bike securely allowing me to go for a stroll and do some shopping at the same time. There's a big park with a river running through it and it's great to stop for a while and just watch life taking place.

I'm retired now and they say time fly's when you're having fun. As a senior with more time on my hands than i know what to do with I've recently taken to cycling as a way of getting around town. I wish I'd started years ago. I'm having so much fun just cycling along not rushing, just taking time. Getting off for a rest when the mood takes me and actually talking to people in the neighborhood I've never spoken to before. Time fly's, but cycling is much more fun than I ever imagined.

I'm using my son's bike. He's into other sports at the moment so I've not worked out for a while and thought cycling could be something to try. And having the bike it's not costing me anything. I'm only out about twice a week at weekends mostly and I'm starting to enjoy that time just steadily moving along.

I cycle mainly for the health benefits. I've been overweight for a while and not taking much exercise so I've bought a men's bike to give it a try. I've been reading that scientists have worked out that when you're riding a bike you can quickly burn of more that 1000 calories. I don't know how true that is, but it is making a difference to me. I go cycling about 3 times a week for about an hour each time. It's becoming a habit now and I'm feeling fitter each day.
